Replacement fuel injector question for 1983 S

Hi All,

I'm working on a 1983 S US Spec Automatic and the injectors are all clogged from sitting filled with gas in long term storage. They are so clogged with rust/varnish/whatever, that the soleniods won't even click. I soaked one on Berryman's and now it clicks but no cleaner will pass through under pressure with 12v applied briefly. I could send them out to Witch Hunters for around $200 with shipping or I found these at about the same cost:

Porsche 928 Fuel Injector Standard FJ15 NEW | eBay

The first thing I notice is that the pintle is shorter 7mm vs 13mm which means it won't seat as deeply as the Bosch injectors. Other than that, they look the same as the Bosch units. Has anyone had any experience with these injectors? Or should I just send out my old ones and get them serviced?

Thanks in advance!

Joe
