Looking for the history of #338
I recently acquired #338, '78 928, silver/pasha/5spd/no sunroof.
Vin#9288200338 I'm curious about the history of the car as there's no information prior to 2007. I've sent away for a COA. But, where would I be able to find more details? Like what dealership originally sold the car? What states has it been registered in and by how many owners? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Google the vin, maybe do a Carfax or Autocheck. COA you can print yourself, those from Porsche have been known to be wrong.
Nice looking car, vin isn't directly production sequence iirc due to the same numbers being used in US and non US models during the early years. |
