Steve,
thanks for offering parts, but you need to clarify a few things
79 Euro engine is essentially the same as it's US counterpart, it's NOT the 4.7l Euro with 300hp....
the 80mph speedo wasn't used until the 80's, also, if that car has a speedo in mph it's been swapped as it should have one in kmh
since the speedo has been swapped true mileage is unknown unless you have the importation papers showing the swap

1 more thing, 86 is NOT an S4, the 86.5 has the S4 suspension and brakes but everything else is same as any other early 928

ref: 928Specialists website, tips/links, tech/specs, engine types

79 Euro is 4.5L 229HP/250ftlbs torque 8.5:1 CR

79 US is 4.5L 219HP/245ftlbs torque 8.5:1 CR

80-83 Euro S is 4.7L 300HP/263ftlbs torque 10.0:1 CR

There is a big difference in the early Euro's and the Euro S models. Heads, cams, intake spiders, and throttle body are all of the smaller (near US spec) size on the early Euro engines. The Euro S is where the big jump was made.
