WTB 1984 928 Flat Wheel -
I recently bought a 1984 928 wheel from a guy on ebay that was supposed to be in good used shape. The lug nut holes were completely bored through the rim so large that the lug nuts will hardly even secure the wheel to the hub. It looks like each hole was oversized (drilled out) with some sort of a rotary tool?
One shop says they can repair the wheel but with no guarantees. Should I even consider a repair or contine to argue with the seller ? I am still needing one final gold tinted wheel to get my car back on the road but may purchase two if the price is right. Thanks for your help, Karen |

I wouldn't argue or use it, SNAD and find a good wheel they aren't hard to locate. A good original bronze anodized wheel will be a bit harder than just a wheel to find, but better safe than matching.
* SNAD significantly not as described, one of the options on non performing seller.
