In post #25 it looks like you are build a bar of boost by 3150 RPM and maxed out at 18lbs. AFR there looks dangerously lean too though right at 13? I am still trying to figure how all these numbers are supposed to work together. 323 with one bad cylinder and building boost that early is pretty impressive.

the boost gauge on the dyno is slow and reads one psi higher. i'm actually building 17psi by 2969rpm and running 17psi max boost, as you can see from datalogging on post 29.

i was intentionally running 13afr to see if it was worth it (it really wasn't worth the risk).

Did you run stock exhaust when you made the comparison?

Is the benefit in shorter spool up time enough to justify an upgrade for a car which will be running run stock boost and stock exhaust?

no. it was running the lindsey 3" exhaust, no cat.
