Trunk/Battery Size Question
 

Hey guys, 1990 Porsche C2 here... I needed a new battery, went to Autozone with my old battery and traded it in on what they said would fit - an H6 AGM Duralast:

It's about a 1/2 to a 1/4" taller than my old battery I think... As with it installed, my trunk floor is proud on the driver's (battery side). This brings up two questions:

1. What size battery is a direct replacement? Apparently, H6 is not it.

2. Does the Floor/carpet just rest on the front and rear lip of the trunk? That's all it uses for support?
