So a month ago I bought a 2005 Porsche Boxster
It had 78k miles. Late last week it started acting up and I saw smoking out the back big time. Figured out it was the oil separator and I replaced that. While I was at it, I also replaced the spark plugs and air filter. Now it will idle fine, but dies when I put it in gear. Getting a P1096 and P1097 on my code reader. I also lost about 2 quarts of oil when the separator went out, guessing most of that went into the throttle body and places where it shouldn’t have. Is there a sensor or something that I should at? Or did I **** myself by driving home when it was smoking and loosing power? Going to take off the throttle body and try to clean it again.

Suggest you jump over to the Boxter Cayman forum or another later model forum.
