964 C2 - Lowering W/18” Rims

I’m planning to lower the car W/18” BBS rims - I’m running a stk setup at this time. Which coilover kit should I use for street use? What’s the most economical rout?

Bilstein PSS10 ?

The PSS10’s definitely seem to be the favored setup although not the most economical. KW V3 are another option and perhaps a bit more economical although I’ve read some mixed reviews on them and I can’t offer experience as I haven’t been in a car that has them.

My personal setup is the Bilstein Sport Shocks with H&R which does well over smaller bumps and back roads but is a little harsh on the highways with bigger dips and transitions.

Mine are the Bilstein B8, I don’t have the exact part numbers as the shocks and springs were done before I got the car. I’ll see if I can find them online.

For street use I suggest Bilstein B6 or B8 instead of coilover. if you do occasional tracking then it's another story. Gert has B6 XT that can go lower. Or you can check out the new Porsche classic green shock.
Many people runs RoW M030 springs too. H&R is also a good option.

If you’re looking for a lower cost here is one option that will lower the car and also improve handling: https://www.pelicanparts.com/catalog/SuperCat/0834/POR_0834_PRFSUS_pg2.htm
