help needed installed KONI + M033 and rear is SUV height....

no idea how this is even possible...

I have swapped my Bilstein HD/H&R combo, whihc I found to be too hard and too low, for koni shocks and M033 springs. did all my homework, get the stuff installed and the rear sits abnormally high.
Correct color code on springs (white dots) correct part number (993 333 521 21)
this is a reputable installer. I am so confused...

I have recently done shocks and springs on 3 964s.

One car had received new factory shocks just before I bought it. Unfortunately, factory 964 shocks were apparently not available so they purchased the 965 parts. The car was seemingly Safari height to me. Had to pull off basically brand new shocks and springs and trash them because nobody wanted to buy them.

Two cars (91 and 92) got Koni Active Struts and Eibach lowering springs. I was generally happy with the ride height but had to lower the adjustment all the way to the bottom and even had to remove the bottom locking collar on the front struts so the adjustment could fully lower to the desired height.

I’m very pleased with the ride quality and ride height for money spent on the Koni Actives. My cars are street use cars so I don’t need multiple types of adjustability.

The 3rd car was a 1990 and Koni Active doesn’t make a rear shock for the old pre 91 rear shock mount. Because of this I had to go Bilstein and HR lowering spring. I was able to achieve my desired ride height but I think the ride is a bit harsher. Koni Active and Eibach feels better.

I don’t know 993s but I’m betting you will need an aftermarket lowering spring to get your ride height.

M033 springs ARE lowering springs, they are simply a porsche product that matches ROW ride height while keeping a more compliant ride than M030 springs.

I found the parts I needed and the issue should be resolved

I have a set of these as part of a Ruf Suspension on my 964 turbo, they allow for more drop :

I have another 964 with the same but they are made by someone else and red in color ( I don't know who).

Do they have them for 993's will the 964 perches fit a 993 ?
