WinWard Performance Any Good?
Hi Guys,
I ususally buy from Pelican coz they're so good! But this time round there are a few items I'll NEED to buy from WindWard, namely the upper strut mounts (camber plates) for a 1990 964 C4. (seems to be backordered everywhere) Are these chaps any good? They say they got it in hand, but are they trustworthy, timely, etc? Please help me out here as I'm out here in Singapore and need the parts urgently. Thanks! Sprint. |

I dealt with them once years ago, bought their K&N Cone filter assembly. It worked(more HP?, I doubt it) They seemed very knowlogable, helpful, blah, blah... If ya need what they got I'd say go for it. But you should always check with Pelican first!

I did check with Pelican but some items are on back order so I got no choice. But for me, Pelican is first choice!!!

Prices are good but service is marginal. If product is available (ie., not on backorder) you'll be fine. Just get confirmation that product is in stock. If it's not, follow-up is a PITA.

They are very knowledgeable and friendly but their service is horrible. Last year I bought a Tial wastegate from them. It didn't fit my stock exchangers. I spoke to them and got a serious song and dance but never any help. I still have the Tial sitting in my closet despite many rounds of promises to rectify the situation. Personally, I have found the gang at Pelican Parts to be the best of all worlds.
