Translucent Gauge Needles

I'm having new custom gauge dials made by Moman in Poland. They are also supplying me with new plasma backlighting so the font of the dials are nice and bright.

Does anyone know where I can source translucent needles for the gauges? I'm worried that since I am backlighting the gauges, the original needles won't be visible at night since they aren't translucent.

Will 997 needles work?
