a/c panel removal 1990 c2
Anybody have any experience in removing the ac faceplate panel to replace worn out looking switches? Thanks in advance!

I made a set out of a wire coat hanger. The little ball ends are not really necessary, they just need to be tapered (1/8”-3/16”). I made mine in 10 minutes with a pair of wire cutters, a pair of needle-nose pliers, and a grinding wheel.
All these things do is retract some small locking lugs out of the way of the dash structure. Keith

You are very right. It works on the early Blaupunkt, but not the Porsche/Alpine.
