Is that Adrian Streathers old 964? I seem to recall he had the Sportec rims on his at one point!

Drknauf,

That 2nd link is very nice....love the S/T/R look. The maglites are such a nice change from the traditional Fuchs.

Do you know anyone that has row 964 using Sportec Mono 19s? I've got a photo from Adrian Streather's 964 buyers guide that has the car wearing the Mono, but the photo is very small and I can't get a good look at the car's profile.

i shot this 1 in 2007 with small camera he was passing by , if this is the one pm me for bigger sized ones by mail !

are these the rims you ment ?

those 19 inch sportec,s are cheap over here, these will fit a 964 :

thnx

i,am sorry Andy i couldn,t tell if it was his !

i think it also depends alot on what color your 964 is with those blingelized 19 inch rims

and most important how much you slam it makes a difference aswell !

It is surprising how much difference in appearance there is from the 18" RUF's to 19's. Mine on 18":

I like the looks of the 18s more. IMHO, there's something unbalanced in the looks of so much wheel and so little side wall. Nice balance of wheel vs. tire Coreseller. I think from certain angles, with the 19s, the tires appear to disappear. Notice how the tire disappears on the silver and blue 964s post by Drnauf. No offense to the owners mind you, it's just my opinion. I remember watching a video where Rob Dickenson(sp) of Singer Design speaks of "proper stretch" when discussing the whole wheel & tire combination. I believe Singer has got it right with their "Fuchs".

I figured I would post an update on my 993 as well as attempt to have a bit more presence over here on Pelicanparts.

...and I've got some 15mm front spacers coming in the mail sometime in the next few days, but until then here is just one iPhone picture of the entire car

So what do you guys think?

Is that a rhetorical question?

Downright gorgeous.

Hard to tell from the pictures but what is the color? Maritime blue, Cobalt? Either case it is art/sex on wheels. I missed a similar car in midnight blue a few years back but this is a nicer color. I am starting a 964 3.8 RS clone project soon and I was thinking of Maritime blue although I am partial to cobalt I think the non metallic would be better.

Best luck with it.
