Peter, My understanding of torque steer is that it is a phenomenon associated with front wheel drive cars. Some say due to unequal length drive shafts, although it is probably much more complicated than that. Your C2 shouldn't be affected.

Torque steer in a RWD car? Not going to happen. There's no torque being delivered by the engine to the front wheels!

Although in the case of a C4, there is some torque steering effect present, especially when rear grip is compromised and the center diff transfers more torqu to the front driven wheels.
