looks like a pristine example.
'95 993 prices in the high $20ks have pushed the 964 prices down to the high teens to mid twenties. The worry of big $$ engine tear down for head/cyl leaks and cyl/case leaks has had an impact on prices as well ( debatable if it is an over-reaction by the market). This '90 model would have the failure prone dual-mass fly-wheel too, unless already changed by a PO. IMO, finding a nice 964 now can be the biggest bang for the 911 buck. .... you just have to have a few extra dollars tucked away 'just in case' I guess that last sentence goes for any 911 .There are probably not too many 30k mile 964s out there to compare its' price to. The thing with the 964s is that sometimes buying a somewhat higher mile car means the two aforementioned repair$ have been done. just my 2 cents max

I see what you mean, Max. If all the updates have been done, this car looks like a deal. As a purveyor of buying used cars, I always like to keep a little 'just in case' stash. Perhaps it's time to hunt the archives for some 964 information.
By the way, just saw the picture thread you started a while back- Dig the photo of your car looking up from the flowers! Paul |

Paul, seeing your White Stripes avatar and quote, I should have known you would stash away some extra funds
![]() You may want to do some reading on the rennlist 964 discussion forum A good book to read through would be Adrian Streather's 964 book EDIT: the book is available right here at Pelican Parts, item # PEL-GP64 max

A happy coincedence nontheless ![]() Now if only their DVD would come out already! ....anywho, thanks for the tip about Adrian's book. I was a rennlist addict prior to finding pelican, but I must admit I don't make it over much. I do recall the 964 section gets high traffic! Paul |
