remotes????

Did all 993īs came with remotes?
How do I know if my 95 came with remotes?

The PO only gave me the keys!

No, it was an option on '95s. Check your option list.

Early '95 models did not have keyless entry, later '95s had the remote; IIRC. (it was a mid- model year change)

If you don't have them it is easy enough to go to your local audio shop and have them install an alarm system with keyless entry. It is not too much over here in the states.

I have installed keyless entry in even my 71 and 72 911s that did not even have power door locks. I have also installed them in my SC and 944 turbo, they did not have power door locks either. It will be cheaper to install in your car because I believe you have power door locks so they just tap into the switch and you do not have to buy the power door lock actuators.
