DIY diagnostic reader for OBD1 cars (964, early 993)
Hi guys,
FYI, there is a group buy on bare circuit boards that will allow you to make your own code reader for OBD 1 cars (964 and 1995 993). It's a non-profit, public domain effort over at Rennlist. Here is the link: http://forums.rennlist.com/rennforums/showthread.php?t=293904 Colin

This is tremendous - if you have a 964 or 95 993 you should jump on this.

Colin,
I'm in for one, too, but don't have rennlist membership. I'd much prefer one assembled. I'm prepared to make payment, including additional for assembly. Thank you very much for your coordination! Doug Wierenga dougwierenga@cox.net

Doug, check out the rennlist thread for our status. You don't need to be a member.

Hi Colin,
I reviewed. Since I'd like an assembled version, I'll wait. I did email you all of my contact information so I may be kept in the loop for the asembled version, since I'm not on the Rennlist site. I appreciate your efforts! Doug
