Doing a bit of " tire kicking " But the search has fostered a question. Was a twin plugged engine simply an option on late model air cooled cars or was it the standard engine on certain models?

Pardon the ignorance .................I have been in 3.2 'ville for quite a while.

The twin plugged engines was standard on the 964 and 993.

The turbos were not twin plugged.
