Cool Fuel Pressure Regulator

Do you know whether the 996/996TT have a fuel pressure regulator? If there is, then where are they located?

As far as I know, all fuel injected cars have a pressure regulator. Can't help you on where it is, though...

Passenger side of the engine, rear of the fuel rail.

Why?

I am just wondering whether this fuel pressure regulator has anything to do with the "hot start" problem. I think the fuel pump is likely to have problem since I have been hearing some whinning sound from it.

If the fuel pump is making a whinning sound, why would the FPR be a problem.

You really need to have the car taken in to a shop
