tiptronic switches on steering wheel don't work
A freind of mine has a 993 convertible with Tiptronic. The switches on the steering wheel don't work. The PO had an air bag incident that required a new wheel as I remember.
Is it as simple as a loose connector trace and hooking it back up? I don't want to blow the airbag though. I read that some cars only had the Tip switches as an option. If his car was originally without switches, is it an easy conversion to make his steering wheel switches work? I can do almost anything with an SC but this is my first try at a more modern Porsche. Thanks for any help.
