Is this a good or ok or bad buy???
I am looking for a 95-98 993 in very good to excellent condition. Are there any dealers that mainly deal with Porsche. I have found several on ebay with Victorymotorcars.com. I am interested in what the forum has to say about this car. Please let me know.

If it checks out by way of an independant PPI, it may be a good one. Be weary of those 'really cheap' 993's often found on eBay. Best is to have a look at it first hand. Not always convenient, but worth it in my opinion..

I picked up mine for $32k. people say be wary of low priced 993's, Deals are always had. Do you home work and ensure the car has been taken car of....If you find a good deal...lucky you. I have bought 3 cars off of ebay...with no problems....honest people will let you put the money in a escrow account...drive her home and if she drives fine.....and the inspection finds nothing major...you have a great car!!

FWIW - I have no personal experience or knowledge about Victory, but they've been the subject of quite a bit of discussion on the 911 board.
http://forums.pelicanparts.com/showthread.php?threadid=250279&highlight=victory+motors There definitely are deals to be had out there, but a PPI is mandatory. You don't want to save a few bucks up front and then get hit with major repair bills after you've brought the car home. I know I paid a little more than market might have suggested for my car, but it was clean, well cared for, had a good service history, good records, etc. My sense is that $37.5K is probably a little above market, but there are probably a good number of coupes out there for sale so look around a bit.
