Child seat in 996 question...
Obviously Porsche makes and sells a model specific child seat for its cars. But I was wondering if any of you 996 owners have put a standard rear facing child seat in a 996. Or if any of you 996 owners think one would fit, forthose of you with no kids or no small children.

It's not recommended to put a rear facing seat into your 996, you should have this sticker on your side vents stating this..... I've used a non-Porsche seat (Eddie Bauer) and had no troubles but once again KEEP IF FACING FORWARD. A buddy of mine used the Porsche seats in the rear of his for kids...... I've never had to put mine in the rear, besides I'm up to the booster stage now......
