1995 911 windshield installation help

ok....i need help with an install with the windshield on a 1995 911 windshield.....i've heard that the urethane is like concrete and there is an issue with the antenna in the glass...some say you need to remove the top pad of the dash to get to the antenna plug????and some say the plug is under the pass. interior pillar garnish????can anyone help

I cracked my windshield today...is this a do it yourself project? who has the best price for windshield...tinted or no tint? any information would be great...

not a do it your self for sure.....i heard you have to loosen the front part of the dash to get to th antenna plug and i'm trying to find out more info????

I just had it done...I could have done it...but for $700 bucks...cheaper than a dealer windshiled....I had it done. plus I didnt have to buy the sealant that needed to be heated and the little special plastic tools...and I have a warrnaty against squeeks and leaks. I went with Safelite. same windshield as factory, without the logo. fit like a charm.

I was quoted more than the web site price...but they honored the website price....saved me $250 bucks!
