Muffler Rattle?

Sounds as if I've developed a nice rattle in the driver's side muffler, is this common on oem?

Any info would be greatly appreciated as it is starting to drive me nuts.

Edit: forgot to mention what we're talking about here. 1999 911, brackets and clamps are all tight.

I would start by checking the brackets that hold the muffler / pipes in place. It is not uncommon for them to come loose.

Beyond that, you might want to mention what year/model you are dealing with.
