HELP ! 993 Alt w/ two positive lead wires
I am installing a Porsche 993 alternator, and it has TWO red positive leads coming out of it. Do they both go to the starter or ???? Thanks

Try here, although I don't see anything about the leads.
http://p-car.com/diy/alternator/alternator.html No mention of the leads makes me think it might be obvious. Perhaps you have the wrong alternator? What did the alternator you took out look like? Where did the leads on it go?
