Clutch slave cylinder replacement

My clutch pedal sinks to the floor. But still works after pulling it up and pumping 2 to 3x.
I drove the car up in a ramp to find out where the slave cylinder was.
Holy moly! It's way up in the driver side between the floor and bell housing.
How do you guys get to the slave cylinder for replacement and bleeding?
Thanks.

Ok..... just found the answers at p-car.com.
I will investigate the kinematic lever behind the floor board as well as the roll pin before replacing master and slave cylinders.

I replaced my master and slave about 3 weeks ago. It looks worse than it is.

That's a little discouraging.
How much work? How many hours working in that tight space under the car replacing the slave cylinder?

I think you misunderstood. It looks impossible to reach and replace the slave, but it wasn't all that hard. I'd do it again without hesitation.

Oh, right, I misread. It looks worse than it is.
It must be easier than how it looks. I'll see how easy it is. Thanks.

Take off the driver's side heater hose and flapper box that is in the fender. You will be able sit in the wheel well and reach over to the slave without getting under the car. Allows you to see the clutch fork to ensure the slave is engaged as well

Hey Chad, thanks. Cool!

I have not driven it in a while. Scared of the clutch hanging halfway and mess up the transmission. Besides, I don't have the time yet. Maybe this weekend. Again, thanks for the tip.

Had time to bleed the slave cylinder. Dark brake fluid came out with some grits. I saw a slight wetness below the slave cylinder at the fork shaft access hole. This explains loss of fluid and hanging clutch pedal. Time for a new slave I guess. For now, bleeding improved the pedal feel and solved the hanging clutch pedal until I get the new slave cylinder from our host. Also bled the brake system. Fluid in the brake lines and calipers were not as dark as the clutch.
Thanks for the tip. It worked out great.
