Flashing temp guage and I lost my manual!
 

There is a light flashing on the temperature guage of my '99 996 w/28K miles. I lost my manual. The coolant level and operating temperature is fine. What could it be? Core meltdown imminent? Hooker enterprise zone ahead? Wife angry about extra time at the 19th hole?
Please advise.

I may be a little late to help, but I had the same issue last week and the manual says it is from low coolant level. I topped it off and the light went out. If yours was something else, please let us know.......
