993 MAF Sensor?
Hey 993 guys, do any of you know whether the 993 uses the same MAF sensor as the 993TT?
Here's a pic of the 993TT unit: http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1157333051.jpg I ask because I'm researching what's required to convert my turbocharged Carrera (using OEM AFM) to a less restrictive 993TT MAF setup  |
A quick search of our host's parts database only shows one MAF for 993's:
http://www.pelicanparts.com/cgi-bin/ksearch/PEL_search.cgi?command=show_part_page&please_wait= N&make=POR&model=911L§ion=FULint&page=2&bookma rk=18&part_number=993-606-123-01-M14 |
On the other hand, I checked a different vendor, and they show two part numbers...

Porsche PET lists separate MAF's for normally aspirated & turbo models...:)

It's OK, I decided to buy a piggy-back MAP-ECU and go to a speed density setup to replace the AFM ;)

Merv, which setup are you going to use?
