Spoiler Problem

993 (1996 c4 cab) witih automatic spoiler: the manual button works to raise and lower it, but suddenly it won't work automatically. So the moter works, but can find the sensor / sender part that has it raise and lower. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks for the assistance; my first post

Welcome.

It sounds like the spoiler control module which is found under the dash. For more exhaustive resources, here's a link to a search I did on Rennlist .

What would likely have failed though,
if spoiler deploy automatically and parks at low speed,
but won't do anything off the manual control?

Is there for example more than one fuse where I might start looking

thanks

I have all spoiler control parts from a conversion to a fixed spoiler. Make an offer if you need parts.

What would have failed is either the spoiler control module or the speed frequency converter. Not a fuse, since the spoiler is working semi-auto: You can raise it, and then it senses the car is going zero, so it lowers it. This points to the spoiler control module.

Don.....Correct

After a replacement module arrived
(which sadly proved to have wrong number of pins) a subsequent delivery solved the problem

thanks again for pointers as always
