Bill or ??? Have a brake Question
Just noticed when I was washing the other day that my front passenger side caliper (which the P.O. painted all silver) was turning a goldish color and the drivers side matched the rears, color wise.
Could this be from just more drag on one side, caliper is getting hotter if it's changing the color. It is getting a mild squeel with textars pads on the front. It didn't squeel before a Nov. DE and I didn't change them to race pads on the last DE we had @ Qualcom (smaller track less speed). She doesn't pull to the right on street / track. I bleed every other DE / TT with blue / gold ATE. Or could this caliper be in need of a rebuild, I looked for rebuild kits here at Pelican but they didn't have any I could find. TIA

That caliper probably got a little hot during the DE and discolored.
I would bleed the brakes just to make sure the fluid is ok, but as long as you are not having braking issues, I wouldn't worry too much. Caliper paint isn't all that durable. AFJ
