Porsche Crest need a mechanic peekskill new, york

hello out there in Porsche land i'm very new to this forum and would like to get some of the benefits of being a Porsche lover my problem is i purchased a 1991 964... 911 from a salvage dealer my experience is in 944's but i had the chance to buy my dream car so i did but anyhow i bought the car it's pretty nice condition except i'm not allowed to drive it until i get this 907 inspection at a DMV location the car is a stolen recovery everything works except the tranny... well the hose was severed in the front of the car when it was found ...buy the way it's an auto
matic with triptronic any way the oil leaked out so i have no forward or reverse well if i reve it up i get a little movement i need to fix this as soon as possible so i can make the inspection date. so if anyone knows or is a mechanic please get back to me... in addition i have everything that's needed to preform this job in my garage ......email me back or call me ...paige 914 263 6436

Deman Motorspot - http://www.demanmotorsport.com/demanmotorsport/ is across the river from you. I take my 964 to Advanced Automotive - (845) 562-0346 in Vails Gate, also close by across the river. The owner Tom is a great guy and owns a 964 (and a 944 Turbo race car for that matter). Rennwerke is in Elmsford - (914) 592 4006. I don't know anything about them, but they are PCA approved, as are the other two. Good luck!

I used Rennwerke for a PPI (I passed on the car) and was very impressed. They seemed to know 964s very well.

NY Wrench

Agree with the recommendation of REnnwerke in Elmsford. Cheech (owner) has worked on my SC and 993. Knows Porsches.
