Cig. Lighter

i plugged my ipod into the cig. lighter and it turned on and then off....tried a phone charger, nope....tried my sirius, nope ....so i guess the fuse has blown....i use the lighter as a power point, something i'm SURE it wasn't to be used for in '92....anyone know the amperage on the fuse and where it is? THANKS!! btw, it's a 92 C2 cab

The fuse box is in the front trunk, right in front of the passenger. Under the lid there is a list of all the fuses and their ratings. There are typically a few spare fuses next to the fuse puller. There is also a handy fuse tester there, too.

Just for interest, what does the fuse tester look like. I have some spare fuses and the yellow puller but dont seem to have a tester, although I dont know what it looks like so it could be there.

it's next to the yellow puller.....it has "TEST" printed on it with an indicator light......the PO may have pulled it out....it is removable....probably pick one up at a dealer for nothing
