Please help with 993 wheels problem!

Hi, please help, i have just fitted some wheels to my 993 and the rears are sticking out just beyond the arches. They are Artec P's i believe that are 3 piece, happy to be corrected :) I think the wheels look awesome but what can I do?

Assuming you have 8x18 ET52 & 10x18ET54

Those os's are aggressive on a lowered car. They work well at normal ride height but are increasingly at risk as the car goes below Row M030 height.

the bigger issue is the rear which really wants 10x18 ET65 at the lower ride heights.

There isn't much you can do except play w/ the lips or get new wheels.

Nice looking car.

Roll the lips and go for max rear camber. Then pull the shocks and check range of motion. But like Bill said (and he's the wheel expert), you really need the ET65 offset.

Thanks for your ideas, yeah rear ET is 53 i think I read and car is nearly as low as M030 although I haven't measured it. Is it possible to get new rim sections of the wheels?

Chances are slim to none, but it never hurts to ask.

This is one of my pet peeves. Most current wheel offerings are aimed at the street profiler crowd. They apparantly want to bringthe wheel as far out as possible to give the illusion of meatier wheels. They are almost all offering the ET 52-56 10" wheels which is fine for stock ride heights but a bit too aggressive for lowered cars.

TMK only BBS offers the correct ET65 10" wheel. Fikse may but I don't have the o/s data for their newer offerings.
