what's the history behind "Guards Red?" i think every 14th porsche is painted this color....is that right?

I think it's called Indian Red for the ROW.......cultural sensitivities in the US caused the name change......

Indischrot translates to "India Red" which is also known by the name of Guards Red, named after the red jackets (redcoats) that were worn by the British troops who occupied India.

911Urge how do you like the Andial chip?

I dont have a comparison to stock since I bought the car with the chip. Before Andial closed I asked them about the changes. They stated it was a few minor tweaks to compensate for their sport exhaust and is Calif legal. I suspect there is very little done.
