radio problems
 

Just got the car stereo shop to swap out the old CR 1 and replaced it with a CDR 210 from Becker. Problem we got now is that the Radio part works fine if it is out of the bracket. The moment the Radio makes contact with the metal mounting bracket we loose all reception. Checked the antenna, is is fine and CD works fine too. Any idea?

Could be a loose antenna plug, I had to tape the crap out of mine when I went from CD-2 to Harman Kardon (basically a Becker). Also the wire to the signal amp was cut - gotta pull the dash off. Probably a 1 hour job - the Becker tools work great for pulling the middle air vent off.
