964 C2 - 1991 Rear Caliper Removal

I am in the process of replacing rotors and pad on a 1991 C2. The front is no problem but starting on the rear wheels, I can not for the life of me figure out how I can get a large enough wrench behind the caliper to loosen the two bolts holding the caliper.
I have the '91 version of the rear caliper with 2 44mm pistons each.
So how do I remove a rear caliper on a '91 964 C2? How to I get a torque wrench in there to tighten? I am lost. Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

There is a hole in the control arm that allows a long 10mm (I think) allen key to reach the caliper bolts. Your best bet is a hex (allen) key socket that's at least 4 or 5 inches long. A normal length allen socket with an extension from the socket set won't work because the diameter of the hole in the control arm is too small to fit the extension. You can also make your own by cutting off the short end of a long allen wrench and then putting the other end in a 10mm socket.

Thank you, found it. I guess I still need the car on a lift. I just don't get enough leverage with the car just on stands. Those bolts are tough.

I only had mine on stands but was able to use the special allen key on the end of a long breaker bar. I also soaked the bolts in WD-40 for a day or two and they popped loose without too much effort.

Those are some of the hardest bolts I have ever had to crack. The lower rear shock bolts are just as tough. You will have to get a very sturdy allen key socket. It takes some serious leverage ! GOOD LUCK !

Say a nice prayer before and thank the Lord when you hear the pop of the bolt cracking loose.
