Residue on Crankcase Plug

I just changed the oil and found residue on the plug in the crankcase. No residue on the oil tank plug. It looks like a very fine dust that is obviously magnetic. How much is normal - if any?

Thanks

As long as is dust it's ok, you'll always find some because the chains are steel metal. If it's chunkie then not good..
So I'd say totally normal...

It's normal to find a small amount of residue attached to the magnets on the plugs. Just clean it off and reinstall
