Just picked up a 1992 964, 50K miles, very nice example and yes will post pictures shortly. Had a question to see if any of you have ever disconnected the passenger side airbag? Thanks in advance, looking forward to learning more about these cars. Bryce

I've taken mine out of my 993. It was a chore.

I put in the cup bypass when I put in a steering wheel, disconnected both.

Bryce - do you just want to disconnect it or remove it?

Rule one before working on airbags is to disconnect the battery for at least a few hours.

You can use the cup bypass as Davis suggested, or just put a small resistor in the connector to fool the system that the bag is present.

Yes. totally forgot to say to disconnect battery. That is a must.
