Thanks! Any reason for going with the GT1 over the GT912?

Front Splitter

The Splitter & GT1 Tailbase came with the car unpainted. Considered swapping it for the 3.8RS wing which I like the best for the 964. Didn't want to ship and buy another one.
The reality is the car is on its way to a race car and the GT1 is much higher than our GT2 on the 993 so it should generate more downforce. Eventually we will probably add a banana wing on it.

IMHO, In your case the GT2 wing on a 964 is not period correct but its unique. The GT2 wing will look much better than the GT1 wing. For the wing to look good the car needs to be lowered. The 3.8RS wing I think looks the best. The RS America wing is a bit plain but I like it with ilko's look.
Banzaisan's and Kurquhart's cars look the best.

chin spoiler 965

thanks everyone!!!
this is my first day as a member of the pelican forums.
i am leaning towards the 3.8 RSR or TVD front spoilers.
i don't want the first thing that people see is a huge addition or takes away from the natural good looks of the wide bodied 964's.

will the TVD spoiler work on a turbo body? it works on the c2/c4 of the same year.
any and all input is greatly appreciated, this forum is AWESOME!!!!!

The full lower splitter "GT 2 look" spoiler shown on the three cars is our mold, our design. AIR and Rennspeed were / are NOT authorized to sell them. If anyone hears of either company still trying to sell our part, please let me know

Information on downforce for splitters is hard to find but you can read this Pelican thread on the effects of various rear spoilers. The general thought is with larger than stock rear spoilers the addition of a front splitter is recommended.
