Header advice

Greetings guys,
I have another lame question for you, but important for my education.

In an effort to gain a little more HP and maybe a throatier sound from my narrow body 97-993, I’m considering an e-Bay auction for a set of B&B stainless headers. The seller claims they will simply bolt on to my engine with new gaskets.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&item=330310848128

1. What might I expect to gain in HP?
2. Is it a simple matter of bolting them on to my stock mufflers?
3. Are there other things I’ll need to do?

Thanks so much in advance for your advice.
James

1)not much
2)there are 2 incompatible style of header/cat interface. They are Bischof and Gilette. You need to have the header flange match the cat(or cat by pass) flange that is on you car.
3)heat

Well than Noa I guess you saved me some money. My wife thanks you for that.
So why do people put headers on? Is it just for the sound? If you can't see the bling effect than what's the point eh?
As always I am so grateful for this site and most of all for your quick replys.
I don't know any of you but you truly are valuable friends.

Hey Bill
My bad, I ran right past your post without acknowledging you for your time.
