993 Air con gas amount question

Hi guys, I only seem to come on here when I need something! Sorry

I have a 993 non VR with Factory air con and I would like to recharge the system. I run a garage so I have the equipment here I just need to know the quantity of gas I should put in, any help is greatly appreciated as usual!

This is done with a gauge set, which I think you might have. Are you using R134a? Most cars changed over in 1995, but you didn't mention what refridgerant you are using or the year of your car. Since it is a 993, I assume it is 1995 or later.

If you are using R134a, you will probably need two cans for a full recharge after you evacuate the system. The system is fully charged when the gauge on the high side reads between 225 and 250 psi. (It would be 200 to 225 psi for R12) The variation is due to the ambient air temp.
