Main Distributor not performing
 

Hi, Just had 24000 mile service 2 weeks ago at a reputable independent in the uk including new coils new rotors and caps.

Noticed in the last week that acceleration was poor but would pick up intermittently - thought i was imagining it. over the weekend its now consistently poor. I did a quick test and it seems my main distributor isnt getting power(not the belt driven one). When i pop the ignitor lead she wont start but will on the other distributor.

Since i have just had the above parts replaced does anybody have any ideas?

Sounds like a bad coil. For every long life component, there are the ones that die early.
