964 3.8 2 piece splitters

anyone with info and good pictures. I just recently installed the same front splitters that peter C2 has pictured on his car. They are the rsr 3.8 two piece splitters. When I installed them, the front ends on both sides wanted to turn up about a 1/2 inch. That now sets them off the stock plastic it screws too and on to the painted front vents. This is the only way I could mount them in which they fitted tight against car. Peter in your picture it looks like yours remain parallel to the ground. They are fiberglass and I have tried to twist them but it appears they are designed to turn up. Any ideas?

I have the factory 3.8 splitters on my turbo. They came attached to the under trays.

Not sure if these bad pictures help but it is a start. I tried to adjust them so you can see the splitters more clearly.

Thanks for thi pictures. It appears that the ends I was referring to have been cut off on yours. I think my splitters extend out about 2 inches more than what you have.

You might have an aftermarket splitter. The ones I posted are factory RS/RSR 1994 turbo S splitters and had factory part numbers on them. They came as the entire piece in the first picture. You might try rennlist. there are number of threads on the 964 forum about these.

I bought them off of Rennspd.com. They are used and I did not see a part number. I am not sure about fiberglass work. Maybe I could heat them up a little and they would change shape a bit. I dont know if they are aftermarket or not. They advertise them as being able to screw right to the bottom using the existing screws. I did have to drill my own holes in the splitter.

Are these the pieces you have?

I have seen these before and they are nice but had heard they are PITA to fit. The black car in the picture is a rennlist member and he had issues fitting them IIRC. There was thread about 3 or 4 years ago on rennlist on what he did to make them fit.

Good Luck

Yeah , thats them. I did read somewhere about installing them. I think it was at rennlist. I just took it that they turned up at the end. I am going to remove them and see if I can manipulate it a little. Thanks for the responses
