Trim peice on the side.
I have a piece of broken trim on my 89. I'm showing a picture of it below. The problem I have is, its not the clips that are broken, but the actual trim piece the hooked parts that stick out that the clips hook onto are broken.
I am considering gluing the clips on using the model plastic glue. I don't see another way to affix the clips on to the piece. What do you guys think?

Yes, lots of folks have glued those weak clips in place, using a variety of adhesives.

I had the (like alot of 964 owners) same issue. I used RTV blue to glue the panel to the white fasteners that the piece clips into. It has a little flexiblility(for vibration) when hardened, unlike glue, plus if I needed to take it off you can get it off without too much issue. It's held with no problem for the past 3 track events. I use the RTV for lots of temporary/someday might need to remove parts. Works for me.................

I just did mine on the right side this past weekend as well. I'm noticing a trend on these forums. If something common is happening to one 964 then it's probably happening or happened to allot of others 964's and there's always a fix or solution available. Thanks to all who contribute.
