Travis, does your car have the double springs on the wiper arms? Does it improve wiper contact on the windshield?

I did get the Streather book and am glad to have it. Admittedly it has it's fluffy bits but it's also got some value. I'd absolutely rather have PP/ RL if you said one or the other, but when I first got the 964 Streather was a useful introduction.

It does have two springs on the back side of the wipers. The wipers seem to work fine but I don't really have a basis on whether it has been improved from previous models. They are certainly on par with my Hondas.

As for getting good info, I have now started a thread regarding 964 service manuals because it seems that this is where this thread is leading anyway.

BTW, it appears Streather's book discourages 18's, likely because Porsche does so themselves. Bill V. has listed fitment options in his 964/993 data that certainly include 18's and obviously people are running them successfully. Is the 10mm steering stop sufficient? Are there other issues with 18's on the 964's? Who has experience with 18's?
