93 964 Turbo 3.6 Help
Guys
I just found an artic silver with deviated red/black interior 93 Turbo. The car has 9,xxx miles (nine thousand). The car is all original except the radio. It has the Porsche speedlines and thats pretty much all I know so far. I have no experience with oil/air cooled cars. The car is a ZZZ VIN meaning that is a ROW car so it needs to be converted into a US car. My DOT/EPA shop just told me that the transformation would cost between $20-30k. they claim that the emissions/airbags/seatbelts, etc (its a huge list) need to be replaced. I am getting info from other sources that this is not true, that RoW cars were not that different from US cars nack in 93. Do any of you guys have any experience importing these cars? Thanks
