Less than $20k for a 993 with no major issues is a great deal. At $14k it's even better. Congrats!

looks good. how's the title? maintenance records? red can be good, and when it is I like it, especially at 14k, and 95's are nice. with 56k miles maybe it's spent a lot of time indoors , can be a good sign or can be a bad sign. what did the guy say?

The guy i got it from had it for 5 years and put only 6k miles. The got had it maintained at a local german mechanic he did not have the records but i called the shop and they confirmed that he had it serviced there Oil, Trani fluid mostly. The car did have a valve cover leak wich he had fixed there at that shop last year.

Doesn't matter at this point. Just enjoy it.

If all checks out with this 993, I'd say that $21K was a good price. At $14K you robbed the poor bastard (wish it was me... ). You seem to have a very nice car, just drive it and enjoy it.

An atrocity it is, for someone to turn around and try to make a quick buck on a car with a LOT of problems. The car is perhaps worth the $14k you paid, but ABSOLUTELY NOT the $22.5k you are asking on Craigslist.

1995 Porsche 911 C2 56,000 miles

Pardon my French, but that is horse feces.

I'm not understanding this response? What's wrong with him trying to sell it for profit? You mentioned allot of problems with the car. I re-read the thread and see no mention of problems. Do you have inside information to share with the rest of us? Asking $22.5K is one thing, but if after a PPI problems are identified (as you have stated) then nobody will pay him his asking price.

Relax, it's free enterprise. You just won't be the buyer...

You don't have to justify to US why your selling it and asking $22.5K for it. If it's worth the asking price (which seems right, if they're no problems) then who cares what WE think. However, when you tell someone what you paid, then they probably won't want to pay $8K more to you . Hope it sells and you make your money. I have no issue with your intent...

You paid WAY too much...

You paid WAY too much for the car. I bought one last week for $6,500.00 + three chickens and a goat.
