1995 Porsche alarm not working

I need help. I have a 95 porsche 993 that the alarm and central door lock not working. You have to use the key on the outside driver and passenger door. Is there a fuse that i can try. I took all the fuses out and checked them and they seem to be good. the car will start and drive fine. any info please help.

Hi - can anyone help. I am looking at buying Winston's car so would be interested in the answer also.

I was researching this on the internet and someone was saying that depending on the manufacturing date the alarm is either 964-style and easier to repair vs "updated" and harder to repair?

Update - Winston determined that he has the "964" / early style alarm on his 993- so what does the repair involve?
