964 power seat jammed

My passenger seat is all the way back and jammed (all other power adjs work and I've tried the manual override adj above the white plastic gears on the front and that doesn't 'unjam' it). From this thread http://forums.pelicanparts.com/showthread.php?t=259282&highlight=seat+adjustment it appears that I need to 'remove the seat cable and insert a philips screwdriver in it's place to manually turn the threaded seat rod ?' Does that mean disconnecting where the (crude) arrow is in the picture below? Or does it mean something else?

Thanks! So presumably I need to somehow get a wrench under there? (I think I might need more than a deep breath and back medication mentioned in the other thread!)

while you work the switch, beat on the back of the seat rail with a heavy plastic hammer, or have someone short sit in the back and push the seat forward with their feet as you work the switch.

The power passenger seat on my 993TT experienced the same problem (jammed all the way back). I sat in it and pushed and pulled and managed to free it. The power controls are working fine now.
