Carerra emblem
Just bought a 01 C2, with a Gemballa spoiler on without any emblem or sticker at the car rear. I had bought a Carerra emblem (already provided with double-sided adhesive tape at its back) ... unfortunately, it was mis-positioned and mis-fixed by an independent car technician ... and it looks quite weird in terms of its position at the car rear.
I'm afraid of damaging the exterior paint if I pull it off by force, how can I re-position / re-fix the emblem? Thanks so much for your advice! BTW, it's a really wonderful car to drive and to look at! nefilim |

Emblem removal
I Used dental floss between the emblem and the deck lid. It took several pieces to complete the job in less than 4 minutes.

Hi Nefilim,
Get the wife's hand held hair drier, warm the emblem until the double sided tape is soft, then gently lift it off the emblem. Sorry, you'll need to buy a new emblem, unless you can find the really thin double face tape and then cut it to match the Carrera script.

Emblem removal
Thank you guys.
From your experience, just wanna ask if there will be any "mark" left by the emblem originally positioned on the rear lid ... even after waxing. Merry X'mas & Happy New Year! |

It probably depands on how long the enblem has been on the car, what sun exposure the car has had and the color of the paint.
The longer it is on the car the more possible problem you may have. Good luck Lar

I hope I can get some answers for this How do I remove the emblem on the hood for my 1991 C2? I also need to remove the windshield washer jets any idea how to remove this as well?
